The boat is a Desingboats Tender 06e (20-feet, “e” for electric). The boat’s name is “e-motion.” It was built in Kreutzlingen, Switzerland by Bootswerft Heinrich AG and shipped to KKMI, where we installed the Torqeedo Deep Blue 80 electric outboard, including two lithium batteries.
The work was performed flawlessly by Roberto Rosales. Jock managed the project and was fantastic. KKMI also fabricated a T-bar for lifting and storing the boat at the owner’s floating home in Sausalito. Caleb fabricated the T-bar. It works perfectly.
